Any information provided to this Portal will be protected from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

The portal gathers certain information about the user, such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, domain name, browser type, operating system, the date and time of the visit. We make no attempt to link these addresses with the identity of individuals visiting our site unless an attempt to damage the site has been detected.


Linking Policy

We do not object to you linking directly to the information that is hosted on our site and no prior permission is required for the same. However, we would like you to inform us about any links provided to our site so that you can be informed of any changes or updations therein. Privacy Policy for JeevanPramaan Mobile App

This policy governs your use of the software application JeevanPramaan for mobile devices developed by National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. The application generates a digital life certificate using aadhaar biometric authentication.


User Provided Information:

The user is required to provide name, email address, mobile number, Aadhaar number, ppo details etc. As part of the Aadhaar biometric authentication, eKYC details of the pensioner are collected and associated with the Digital Life Certificate of pensioner.


Automatically Collected Information:

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device.


We may disclose user provided and Automatically Collected Information:


* As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;

* When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

* With our trusted service providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.


You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.


Misuse by Non Targeted Users

All mobile apps are meant for use by the targeted audience only. Misuse by non-targeted users should be prevented by owner of the mobile.


Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
